For 38 years Cold Mountain Pottery, a small company located in Billings, Montana, has been producing fine handcrafted stoneware pottery.   We specialize in mugs with unique embossed graphics depicting subjects of the mythic Rocky Mountain region. Every step of the pottery process is done by hand.  Our Red Earth glaze is hand dug 50 miles east of our studio.

            Since our partnership with A.W.A.R.E. in 2013, we proudly employ people with disabilities.   By tailoring jobs to people’s strengths and making minor accommodations, Cold Mountain Pottery gives people with disabilities the opportunity to grow their job skills. We cultivate positive work relationships, punctuality, and attention to detail. Employees earn hourly wages instead of piece work. Whether in the pottery or going out into the community, we help people achieve job independence.
